I'm Briar, a lifelong artist and creative. I feel genuinely blessed to have turned my passion into my career.
I've been doodling and designing for as long as I can remember, and I made things official in 2019 when I graduated with a degree in Digital Technology & Culture with a focus in Multimedia Design. Along the way, I was the Marketing Coordinator for a nonprofit, until I made the leap into the agency world - currently, I am the Head of Design at a digital marketing agency where I manage any and all things design. Outside of design, I’m an avid enthusiast of fashion, interior design, music, film, TV, video games, travel, and food.
I'm all about chasing experiences, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, and turning everyday moments into something remarkable. This passion fuels my journey in the world of design and branding because I believe in the profound impact visuals can have on storytelling and identity. For me, it's about combining strategy and aesthetic instinct to turn an idea into an evocative visual language that not only communicates, but resonates.
What’s in a name?
bri·ar /ˈbrī(ə)r/ (noun)
Any of a number of prickly scrambling shrubs, especially the sweetbrier and other wild roses.
The name Wyldrose is a play on my first name, Briar, but it is also a nod to the qualities I abide by in not just my approach to branding, but in how I live my life — a fierce belief in individuality and authenticity, a drive for adaptability, thriving through adversity, and an endless pursuit of beauty among the mundane. As a designer, it speaks to my commitment to creating brands that will stand the test of time with elegance and boldness. With Wyldrose, brand identity isn’t just a collection of logos, colors, and fonts; it’s a living, breathing testament to the enduring power of well-crafted, original assets that resonate.
