The Aven is an upcoming community of townhomes located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is a brand-new development that sought a name and brand identity fitting for the stunning Colorado landscape and prestigious location.

The client wanted a name that reflected a timeless and classic appeal to fit with the affluent neighborhood, while also making reference to the natural splendor of Colorado. The name “Aven” means “beautiful and pleasant, or fair radiance,” but is also the name of a mountain wildflower, which ties closely to nature and the scenic beauty of the Colorado landscape. This name conveys elegance and natural charm, fitting for a community that emphasizes its connection to the outdoors and upscale living. “Aven” highlights natural beauty and serenity with sophistication and elegance. It has a graceful and pleasant sound, with a soft yet confident pronunciation. It is concise, easy to say, and memorable.

With a name chosen, we proceeded onto creating the brand identity. At GTMA, I pioneered the Ready-Made Brand Kit, a solution tailored specifically for multifamily clients like this one.
